BG Law Makes a Difference with Habitat for Humanity

This past Saturday BG Law staff, family and friends made their way to Ventura County to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity. Orientation began at 9:00 a.m., and shortly thereafter volunteers were broken into small groups and began to work. Duties for the BG Law team included pulling lumber from various wood piles to begin building prefabricated walls for a garage. There were a total of 6-7 walls to be framed, and the walls would then be installed at the site of a new home in Camarillo, California. The wonderful volunteers at Habitat for Humanity provided guidance and prepared the primary header and footers for the walls. Even though there were some bent nails, participants still completed the assignment by noon that day!
