Los Angeles Business Journal Honors Jessica Wellington and Ashley Teesdale as “Next Gen Women of the Year” at 2025 Valley Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards; Susan Seflin Named a Finalist for “Executive of the Year”

The firm is pleased to announce that several of its attorneys were recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2025 Valley Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards, which took place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City. During the event, both BG’s Jessica Wellington and Ashley Teesdale were named winners of the highly competitive “NextGen Woman of the Year” award, which honors rising stars in the San Fernando Valley business community. Notably, Susie Seflin was also named a finalist in the prestigious “Executive of the Year” category.

 

Each year, the top businesswomen in the San Fernando Valley attend the Valley Women’s Leadership Symposium & Awards to share their wisdom through a series of dynamic discussions during the breakfast symposium covering topics such as pressures of leadership roles, the importance of mentorship, work/life balance, getting on boards and supporting our nonprofit community, supporting other businesswomen, among many other topics. BG’s Jessica Bagdanov appeared as one of this year’s speakers on the panel “The Power of People: Building Relationships that Elevate Your Career.”
