Jorge A. Gaitan recently joined Brutzkus Gubner as an associate in the Commercial Bankruptcy and Insolvency Practice Group. Jorge is responsible for a wide range of motion practice in contested matters and adversary proceedings.
Prior to joining Brutzkus Gubner, Jorge served for five years as a law clerk to the Honorable Mark D. Houle of the Riverside Division of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Additionally, Jorge previously held positions as Acting Supervising Attorney and Assistant General Counsel for the State of California’s Agricultural Labor Relations Board (ALRB) where he represented the ALRB’s General Counsel in administrative and state court proceedings.
Prior to law school, Jorge was a Peace Corps Volunteer stationed in Burkina Faso, West Africa. Jorge is fluent in Spanish and French.
